When using self-aligning roller bearings for a long time, lubrication of the bearings is carried out to ensure an extended service life of the self-aligning roller bearings.

The vibration of rolling bearings is basically caused by the vibration of the bearing rings and is related to factors such as the structure, stiffness, manufacturing accuracy, installation conditions and usage of the bearings. If there are large radial corrugations on the raceway of the inner ring of a self-aligning roller bearing, radial vibration will occur on the outer ring of the bearing when the inner ring rotates. The corrugations on the inner ring of the bearing not only cause radial vibration of the outer ring but also axial vibration. When the bearing is subjected to axial load, the relative axial positions of the inner and outer rings of the bearing will change. Therefore, when the inner ring rotates, the outer ring of the bearing will also generate axial vibration. During the operation of the vibrating screen, for the high-speed rotating bearing, the vibration frequency caused by the corrugations It is possible that it is equal to the rotational frequency of the exciter shaft, that is, resonance occurs.

The repair methods for lubricating slewing bearings: The lubricants inside the lubricating bearings can be generally divided into oil and grease.

Repair method: Supplies: Dry towel, sharp pliers, bearing cleaning solution, bearing lubricating oil or grease.

1. Drying: Take the self-aligning roller bearing out of the cleaning solution, wipe off the cleaning solution with a dry towel, and then place it in a cool place to dry.

2. Bearing cleaning solution: Immerse the bearing in the bearing cleaning solution purchased from the market and shake it. At this time, foreign objects inside the bearing will be shaken in. Some ultrasonic cleaning machines bought from stores are also very helpful in removing foreign objects.

3. Inject lubricant: According to the trend, inject grease or oil into the bearing, cover the guard, and reinstall the C-shaped ring.

4. Remove the C-shaped ring and the guard: Use a dry towel to wipe off the dirt inside the bearing, then use sharp pliers to hold one side of the C-shaped ring and take off the C-shaped ring and the guard.

5. Inspection: For bearings that have been assembled in their original condition, hold the inner ring with your fingers and rotate it several times.

Frictional vibration mainly refers to the abnormal vibration of rolling bearings. Generally speaking, frictional vibration is more likely to occur on large ball bearings. It is more likely to occur when lubricated with grease, especially when the lubricating performance of the grease is poor. According to experiments and observations, the generation of frictional vibration in self-aligning roller bearings is often directly related to the nature of the lubricating oil. When the performance of the lubricating oil is poor or it is not clean, frictional vibration is prone to occur, and it is also related to the processing quality of the outer raceway of the rolling bearing. If special and precise processing methods are adopted for this, frictional vibration can be better controlled.
